Amana Roots Counselling offers a safe space for individuals to explore their trauma and attachment issues through culturally sensitive therapy.

Welcome

Discover Healing Through Compassionate Care

Amana Roots Counselling is a virtual psychotherapy practice offering trauma-informed care to adults across Ontario. Led by Yasmeen Mohsin, Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO), we specialize in culturally rooted trauma and attachment therapy.
We provide a safe, collaborative space to help you navigate trauma, CPTSD, anxiety, depression, attachment wounds, people-pleasing patterns, emotional regulation, career stress, burnout, and the impact of family and cultural dynamics and much more.

Our integrative, trauma-informed approach draws from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), attachment-based therapy, and trauma-focused care. We are especially committed to supporting South Asian, Muslim, and BIPOC clients, while warmly welcoming individuals from all backgrounds.

Culturally Rooted Therapy

This service focuses on addressing trauma and attachment issues through a culturally sensitive lens. Yasmeen integrates clients’ cultural backgrounds and experiences for deeper understanding. Together, we’ll unravel the complexities of your past to foster healing in the present.

02

Attachment Therapy

Our attachment therapy helps individuals understand their relational patterns formed in childhood. By exploring these connections, we can break harmful cycles and foster healthier relationships. This approach empowers clients to cultivate secure attachments and emotional resilience.
